Rebecca Charles, CPSP Graduate Research Assistant
Rebecca Charles is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center on Poverty and Social Policy at Columbia University where she works on research and communications projects related to racial justice. Recently, Rebecca led a project examining the Black-White child poverty gap and the role that government policy has in narrowing this gap and other inequities in income along racial lines. Rebecca received her Master’s in Social Work from the Columbia School of Social Work and plans to have a career in social policy, specifically in the areas of education and criminal justice reform.
